Happy Belated Valentine's Day!!!

Couples and flowers are everywhere on the street. Is giving flowers a must for guys on Vday?

I was greeted with the largest bouquet of flowers i ever seen yesterday. My neighbour was carrying it when i saw him at the lift lobby. He was wearing a suit and was holding such a huge bouquet with no gf beside him. I was not even able to say hello coz he could not see me with that humongous thing blocking his view!!! The auntie that stepped in afterwards keep glancing at the flowers and i think he feels awkward too... Why do such things???

Next was at the bus stop... Guys wearing office attire with bouquets stuffed in all ways... Plastic bags... Paper bags... Briefcase.... Creativity wins!!!

I don really understand the meaning of giving flowers only on special occasion like Vday where you know bloodsuckers are out there to take all our hard-earned money. The price is horrible when i walked past the shops for the past two days. Why?!?!

Here's how i spent my Vday...

Morning was breakfast with Tat before i meet Rb and Fress since she is back in Singapore. Chatted till evening when mum called and informed that grandpa having some breathing difficulties and she was rushing down... So i went down to the nursing home too...

Half way on the journey, my mum called and told me that he has to be send to SGH and so i take the train back... And just after i board the train... Another call came and he had to be send to TTSH... WTH... Went back and took the train towards another direction. Donno whats going on but i keep walking the wrong way and have to sort of run and walk to TTSH...

The most irritating thing happened when the counter did not allow me to go in and my poor grandma was waiting outside with tears in her eyes. I understand that only one person could accompany the patient in but what really get me into the fighting mode was the attitude and service level of the staff. She was ridiculously rude and i had to stand outside to wait for news from my mother (who was inside already)...

Doing the most irritating thing... I observed her and out of 10 people that went to the counter, 10 was given the worse service i had ever seen. She has no respect for the patients and even her co-workers. Why did TTSH hire her in the first place?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Of course i have the exact spelling of her name in my brain right now... One glance and it's forever!!!!

Anyway... We were at TTsh till 8pm when we were told that my grandpa had to be transferred back to SGH coz there are records that they could not read. Once again... We went to SGH and the admission took me more than an hour... Finally done and the A&E was still full of patients and their relatives... People fainted right there with staffs rushing over to help...

One stop at the A&E shows how vulnerable we human beings are...

That's how i spent my Vday and i reached home pass 12 midnight...

Gtg to bring my lovely rabbits to the vet!!! Shall update the Taiwan trip soon!!!
