Still watching the 庆功宴(qing gong yan) for 红星大奖(Star Awards). Need to send IPP report to LO so might as well come and post something.
This year's Star Awards result may satisfy some people and at the same time, some fans of celebrity that did not get the award may start going "she does not deserve the award... XXX should get it..." sort of things. I think everything turns out fine. Only one part, where the fat nyonya and the (fake)bak kut mei waste time showing a short bo liao "friendly" skit. Super sarcastic lar. I think it makes the matter worse lor. People are going to start another round of boo-ing..... Bo liao!!!
Just nice, they interviewing the bak kut mei now, she is so generous lar, satisfy with what she has. 小娘惹(xiao niang re) and the artists totally took all the show but its really a nice show i must say. Its been so long since a nice tv programme comes along. I miss the shows that channel 8 use to show in the past. My favorite show is still the seagull one. I don remember the name of the show but i am sure it leaves many memories to those around my age. Its a must watch even thought it repeated 2 times during that period.
小娘惹(xiao niang re) theme song, 如 燕(ru yan). The lady.... Olivia Ong... Really has a good voice... The words used are so chim. Really brings out the feeling of the song.
