Its 12+ going 1am in the morning. I just finish bathing and while i wait for my hair to dry, i shall blog about my day.

Went out in the afternoon with my mum to Takashimaya, had lunch but i only ate a little as i have no appetite and we bought my dad a belt. Walked around till 2pm in the afternoon, then i trained down to Newton.

Just in time to catch the 2.30pm bus to Shangri-La. Was going around like a lost dog when i reached, first day(s) is/are always like that. Thankz to Fress that came to my rescue. Haha. Went for the briefing next. I can now fully understand why Shangri-La charges such high price. Look at the organizing, the structure is that good, even to the very details of how the food should be place in front of the guests. So much difference from those banquet that i had worked before. Shangri-La totally rules lar. I got a cute name tag too! So nice=)

After that was dinner, it was a buffet line and it is for STAFFS! OMG lar, buffet line for staffs leh, they have all kind of dishes from fish to meat, coke to coffee, rice to noodle(laska) and dim sum to ice-cream. So many to choose, they only bad thing is that we have no time to choose, we just take whatever we can and start stuffing the food into our mouth. Anyway, it still tastes good. Shangri-La leh, how bad can the food be right. Haha.

Here comes the hard part of the working process. The serving after our dinner. Everything done so nicely more than half an hour before the guests can actually come in. Rules. Everything so organize that no one think there will be any mistakes. Human do make mistakes lar, and when people are busy, the managers will start being "Gan Choing" that they start speaking so angrily that you think they are going to explode any moment. Hah.

So it started with guests coming in, serving of bread and FIJI water. Then a long long speech by the CEO of Fobres. We had to stand there for so long and my leg really hurts lar. Then was lobster as starter with white wine, deer's meat as main course with 2 types of red wine and finally dessert which has a tart and a sorbet with dessert wine. All looks so yummy but we cant eat them...

The second round of speech started again. Sad sia. Only this time it was longer, so we are all like idiots standing there for an hour which means an hour of pay just standing, simply cool. The whole opening for the Forbes Annual Meeting ended at around 9.30pm, but our job did not stop there. We start clearing the moment they leave the room. Clearing of wine glasses, plates, napkins, table cloth(3 layers of them) and many many more. It took us till 11pm to finish everything. I was changing back to my clothes when the aunty there told me that the next shuttle bus is coming soon. I get everything done as fast as i can and YES! i managed to catch the last bus for the night. Took it all the way to Newton station and trained to Yishun. Lovely parents came pick me up at Yihsun station lar, damm good. Haha.

My next booking is on Friday so if it is a wedding, i will have more things to learn which is kind of a good thing to me. Experience is important, don just let life slip away. Learn as much as we can right. Haha.

Ok, i am off to play some games as my hair is still wet. I love my hair more than anything so i washed it, haiz... or i could already be sleeping now... CO sectional tomorrow, teacher must come lar, he did not came last week and it wasted some of our precious time as it is coming near to the Hong Kong trip.

Would be pretty busy these few weeks since i found a job, so wait for my next post ba. Haha, Bye Bye=)
